Our Bulls
At the Viramontes Farm, Bulls are a key component in producing the calf crop that will perform. We have come to realize that bulls contribute 50% of the genetics to their offspring. With this being said, "Why use a so-so bull?".
We mainly use our herdsire "Mr. Folgers" on our cows. Sometimes we use AI bulls such as; Shelton Ranch 1197, Commando, etc. to expand our gene pool.

Mr. Folgers
Mr. Coffee Son
Above is our herd sire "Mr. Folgers". He is a Mr. Coffee son which we bought about four years back. Mr. Folgers is extremely clean for a beefmaster bull. All of his calves carry on that trait and are extremely "showy" due to their straight toplines and super smooth front ends. Mr. Folgers is a show producing bull, no doubt.

This is our solid black upcoming herdsire "Black Leo". He is chocked full of muscle and has EPD's which will compete with anyone. We are very excited about this bull and have high expectations for him in the future.
